Lisette M. Betancourt, M. A., is a Board Certified Specialist in Fluency, licensed in Florida and certified by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association. For over 30 years, Ms. Betancourt has been working with clients and their families struggling with stuttering.

Across all settings (private practice, not for profit clinic, and hospital), she has been invested in improving the service of clients with stuttering. Ms. Betancourt has lectured colleagues, medical personnel, and physicians in this endeavor. She has advocated for earlier identification and increased understanding of stuttering via various media outlets (CNN Latino, El Nuevo Herald,  Miami Herald, Telemundo, South Florida Parenting, etc.)
